World Contraception Day (26 September) is a global campaign aimed at
raising awareness of contraception and empowering young people to make
informed decisions about their sexual and reproductive health.

Family Planning says the theme of this year’s World Contraception Day focuses on empowering young people to think ahead and build contraception into their future plans – to prevent unplanned pregnancy or sexually transmissible infections.
