Honestly, the interaction with the patients has now become a two-way sword. With almost no medical knowledge the patients or the attendants often impose their decision on the mode of treatment against your clinical judgment. And if the things turn bad, they slap medico-legal case.
Recently, it’s news that the attendant of a pregnant woman slapped the doctor for not agreeing on normal delivery as demanded. The position of the baby was not normal, and the doctor decided a cesarean. However, the kin started a brawl with the ob/gyn and ultimately slapped. The police were called to settle the situation.
